Former Nova assistant and VERY close with Immanuel Quickley...it would not surprise me to see Quickley add UConn to his list, which won't make Makai Ashton-Langford happy...he was also the lead recruiter on Markelle Fultz...
Significant hire.

Have to say heckuva hire as that little bastage puts food on a Head Coach's table.
Must have wanted to come back to Connecticut because he's Elite Conference material.

Very formidable recruiting tandem with Ollie...but can they coach? Chillious has a reputation as being good with development...

The Connecticut horde is starting to get restless...the columnist is an opinionated BC alumn (apologies for the redundancy) who, admittedly, is close to Glenn Miller. His column has merit but, to be fair, Ollie's latest recruiting hire could be an absolute home run. Nevertheless, perception is often the same as reality (an attorney once told me that when, as a young man, I sought counsel on a potential conflict of interest issue regarding a local zoning matter...nearly 30 years later, the attorney was fined and reprimanded by a professional ruling body for failure to disclose a conflict of interest)...oh, well... www.theday.com/article/20170329/SPORT01/170329172

I agree Conn...it's just spin.
It's a terrific hire...and even if he is a little shady based on his prep history as some may have suggested on social media...So What?
The ncaa does nothing about cheating...as a matter of fact I hope our guys walk the fine line day in and day out or they are missing the boat

Simply walk all the way up to the line of impropriety...do not cross it...but, perhaps, just wave one foot over it.

Its obvious Ollie wants an assistant who can just bring in players...Ollie will claim he "had no idea" of what the assistant was doing to bring in the players if they are caught violating NCAA rules.

Anyone who knows me knows I am not usually super critical of anyone. I think Chillious is a real a**hole. Anyone who has seen the documentary movie Elevate knows what I mean. For those of you who didn't see the movie it follows four Sudanese players on their journey from an elite training program in Sudan through their Prep School careers in the United States and onto their college careers. Chilleous was prominently featured in the movie as two of the players wound up going to South Kent where he was the head coach. His team got out to a rough start and he wound up bailing on the team half way through the season for a job at Nike as he was worried that his reputation was being hurt. A real dirt bag, particularly leaving the two African kids without their major support figure in the US. I highly recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys Hoops movies. It is just like hoop dreams except that it follows four African players going to US Prep schools instead of following two inner city Chicago players. It will also let you know what kind of coaches they hire at UConn.
