Probably wouldn't have mattered since they came down and jacked up a quick 3 anyway, but that was a horrendous call...only to be outdone by one of the most blatant travels you will ever see....

Schockers over Flyers in a close contest but think the refs whistles affected the outcome. A shame as the game was one of the better games of the tourney so far. Wichita St ground it out though.

Tuning in to Marquette game and noticed USC won by one over SMU .
Don't know anything about that game other than me daydreaming "what might have been".

The URI easy win over Creighton for their 9th straight has RIers going bonkers.
The word is Bobby Hurley will show Danny the way to beat Oregon who he lost to twice this year.
Oregon's excellent Big is OUT as you all know so folks here making travel plans to the Sweet Sixteen to cheer on the State's new Cinderella
replacing the Friars after some 58 years and a 17 point lead....
2 + 2 = 5

Golden Eagles shooting 3's on a record pace but South Carolina dominating the paint against Marquette's mediocre frontcourt
Not feeling it but that Howard can really shoot

Marquette was horrible on the defensive end. South Carolina did whatever they wanted.
USC was down to SMU and came back also.
URI looked good. I think they can beat Oregon.

Marquette humiliated. SC took a dump right on their face. did not see the game but not surprised...defense has been biggest problem for Marquette all year.. they usually win by outscoring opponents...also not surprised about URI win..Creighton also not all that great on defensive end and can be out toughed on the other end by tough defense teams.. So not a good day for Big East on day 2....let's see what today brings

Big East humiliated? Well I guess that's one way to look at it...anyway gonna get worse before the weekend winds up.
Average Butler may go before getting killed by UNC and same for X before they get to Az
Watson and Sumner hurt the top of the league or both the BlueJays and Musketeers would have made Loud Noises in this tourney
Overall I think the Selection Committee did a good job. Seeding Marquette ahead of us will never be justified in my mind after the sweep but it turned out to be a worse draw for Marquette.
I don't blame the Committee for inviting unworthy Marquette to the Dance because of the lack of quality candidates to choose from nationally.
While we don't have great teams this year because of injuries (Nova maybe) and our conference performance will be wanting this year; this Committee gave the Big East 70% of it's teams an invite. Roll that around in your heads awhile.

Defending champs couldn't pull it out against a solid Wisconsin team: a bracket buster.

Aren't the Badgers terrific
I wonder who said height would eventually catch up with Nova. The guy is brilliant
