dmac, I didn't mean in the typical way, I meant in terms of the venue altering the outcome of the game by being an ice rink.

Isaiah Jackson made a big difference in that second half. He has really come on late.

Rodney Bullock. After that performance in the 2nd half, he may get taken in the NHL Draft.

WTF was bullock doing on that. He slowed down as if he expected a backcourt violation instead of aggressively securing the ball. Season over. NIT? I admit I quit on the boys. Ugly win but a win. I'll take it and happily dine on this

Thankfully the players and coaching staff did not give up.
These guys have learned how to win, even when down big.
Great finish by the guys defensively and on offense when it mattered at crunch time.

Just back from Dunk ice dome.
Have no idea how we won this game - none. But we did and we never ever gave up.
Crowd was electric and snarling - gotta love Friartown.

13,216 ...never seen a posted attendance so large. Must have been standing all over the place. Will juice the numbers for the season, and I would expect a large crowd for DePaul as it's a must win, but it is late. Kids might have to study.

I was at the Pavilion today for the Creighton at Nova contest.Senior nite for Hart,Jenkins and Reynolds. They have the best four year record in Nova's illustrious hoops history. They were undefeated in Big Five games.Have won all BE regular season titles in their tenure.Had been undefeated at a Pavilion until Butler win on Wed.Lastlost before that had been to PC with Cotten, etal before Hart etal played. I did tape the Marquette game and watched the last 10 or so game minutes live.Team looked down and out.But Cooley and the players scratched and fought and did not quit to win this very important game which both PC and Marquette needed.I love the way this team is playing right now. They will back down from no one. Amazing that the Friars now have a serious NCAA shot.No way I thought that a couple of weeks ago.

Quite the comeback. I was despondent for much of the 2nd half. The foul situation kept my hopes alive. Mr. Low Energy was a cool cat at the line and elsewhere when it counted.

I just got in from a trip on the road, where I watched the game in a bar with my roommate of 4 years. What more can I say? Another improbable win - snatched from what seemed like certain defeat with just a few minutes left.
This team is playing an ugly brand of basketball, but has hit some sort of stride that has them pulling the stops, somehow keeping games close, and making baskets when they matter most. It isn't pretty, but it's working.
This team has discovered a gritty personality for itself. In doing so, they've surpassed my wildest expectations for the season.
