Did people let snow impact their lives and decisions this much in the 70s/80s/90s? My recollection is people carried on with their plans more back then. Am I wrong? Honest question.
I only really drive a car in the summer so snow doesn't really impact me at all. I also don't have to shovel, etc. It's pretty much a non-event where I live. Had a huge storm last year where they closed down roads etc. Coincidentally it was the weekend of a NYC bachelor party I was attending. We were able to walk down the middle of Avenues in pursuit of open bars.

8176 for creighton, yikes.
In normal weather this would have been much higher. Just not our year -on the court or in the turnstile count. Numbers gonna be way below last yr.

People are softer, millennials suck, and smartphone, tablets, internet and tv give people so many more ways of watching remotely, or being entertained by other stuff.

Seriously complaining about today's attendance? A normal 40 minute drive for me was 1 1/2 up and almost 2 hours home. Excellent crowd considering the conditions! ....gotta love friartown...

Have to agree with Mike on today's attendance, much more than I thought would be able to get there. Tell you what is was white knuckle driving home the 15 or so miles I had to go.

Seemed like more than that today. Some students and the band were back. Thought the crowd was vocal and supportive.
