Thump you may be on to something!
I just might have to investigate getting one of those TOTO toilets and seats that, warms, washes, flushes, deodorizes, and dries those delicate and strained regions of the rump.
...
You jest but the range of motion ain't what it used to be. An Easy Rise Cushion and a three-footed cane in all our futures.

Daddy I think one can hang that toilet lifter around your neck when entering the Dunk and security will let you proceed. It works the same as Thump's Adler Elevator Shoe Lifts which made him taller than Sharaud Curry.

Is the next convention at the Convention Center, Grumpy or Grumpier Old Men?

Thanks Dex my vertical lift ain't what it used to be either....
Grumpiest johnnypc... you have to get your tale(s) of woe straight and rehearsed for the judges... most convincing wins... but no one is really listening as they got tales of their own to tell....

Well if you do stand up for a moment, Friarman, be certain to check for tacks that have been placed on your seat, before sitting back down... that is, unless someone is unable to sneak tacks through the brand new metal detectors that await Saturday's crowd at the Dunk!

Frankly, it's embarrassing to watch 10 - 0 runs and fans waiting for the Friars to score a bucket. Pathetic. Kasich and Bern seem authentic. Standing at the start of the game and listening to Harry bellow appears inauthentic. Friars fans actually do Rise to the occasion when the play and momentum calls for it. That's genuine. You had me until you started naming commies. Anyway I agree the standing is a sad joke. It's the most inauthentic awkward thing ever and even though yes it's a poor excuse, I do think it affects the team. The friar faithful knows when to stand and cheer, I actually think Harry screaming at people to get up and cheer has the opposite affect on the crowd and their mood. Usually the crowd gets riled up and crackling when the Friars are playing well (duh) or when the three blind mice are screwing us. If only the crowd could be a little more animated early on in games (not standing silently on command from Harry) and team/player intros are usually pretty flat. But I'm not going to complain when over 11k a game are turning out for big east games, with at least half being complete sellouts.

you missed the weight of the word "seem" authentic....
Live and let live... Harry wants to scream... go for it....Afficianados want to stand while the opposition scores 10 and their adrenaline levels drop down to their socks... fine.
I am not in the stands loyal to the team as 12K + have been. I see some of those standees at away games in the far off regions of play.
I'll be at the Prudential Center standing/sitting on my hands/cheering/ but there knowing that they will play to win.
