Updated final numbers for the regular season. As you can see this was our strongest year in some time and crushed the previous averages. See last 2 years below for comparison. Also note that severe snow games threw one conference game each of the last 2 years out of wack skewing the numbers a little. All numbers are sourced from ESPN posted box scores. 2015-2016 Opponent | Attendance | Harvard | 9,477 | Illinois | 8,069 | Brown | 8,706 | NJIT | 5,009 | Hartford | 5,169 | BC | 8,425 | Bryant | 7,369 | Rider | 7,852 | OOC Tot: | 60,076 | OOC Avg: | 7,510 |
St Johns | 12,410 | Marquette | 10,446 | Seton Hall | 11,148 | Butler | 10,918 | Xavier | 12,804 | Villanova | 12,883 | Georgetown | 12,582 | Depaul | 12,435 | Creighton | 9,252 | BE Tot: | 104,878 | BE Avg: | 11,653 |
2015-2016 Tot: | 164,954 | 2015-2016 Avg: | 9,703 |
For comparison, here is the last 2 years

SH attendance might get killed by Pats game. Unfortunate, especially considering that being in the Top 10 is a very rare situation for the Friars.

I wish there was a way Fox and the Friars could flex this game earlier or later in the day. It is a Saturday afterall. We'll see but doubt it. This could be this year's "snow game" that ruins the average.

OOC performance was stronger, for the 3rd straight year attendance rose, and this yr without a URI sellout. Only 2 stinkers in the bunch Hartford and NJIT.

No idea, I'd absolutely say "no thanks" if I was SH. Also, would FS1 agree to this or is PC willing to sacrifice a televised game? Wish more Friar fans would put PC first this season. They deserve it and it doesn't happen as often. I know that's not realistic with people's love for the NFL.

I suppose fox could force the move for tv purposes to avoid a negative number.

My two teams are PC and the Pats, and I'd of course take a PC national title over a 5th Pats SB title, but a Pats playoff game is going to win the hearts and minds of all but the most diehard Friar fanatics over a early conference matchup with Seton Hall. I hope they move it.

For Marquette tomorrow night, PC Sent out a "We're number 8" flash ticket email blast......$8 for certain seats (I'm guessing the 12 dollar seats behind the hoops which had tons of open seats on the seat map).....Hopefully some fans get down there tomorrow night, this is going to be a tough game against Marquette.
I snagged 2 for $22 each plus the fees, looking forward to my first game this season.
Hoping to see 10k+ there's a lot of seats the balcony on the seat map right now.

Thanks Dmac for that attendance chart.
Fox bought the Big East Conference and they call the shots...all depends on what's in their best interest. SHU and PC can suggest but certainly not insist. I trust this clears it up boys.
I seem to recall a time change earlier this season...perhaps not on Fox or they didn't give a crap.

The others hood saif njit was moved up a 1/2 hour on a Monday night....assume there are other BE games scheduled before pc shu so they'd have to shift other games or compete with the nfl prime time game that night. We'd be pretty hissed if PC was forced to make the change.
