Sorry. Too early for this chicken to make a game by game call. I need more than a radio feed from an Exhibition Game, to formulate an opinion on our season.
For now, put me at 16-14. Assuming we make it into the NIT, we might be able to ride Kris Dunn's homestretch run to pick up a couple of wins.

We could be one of the top seeds in the NIT and have to hit the road early because of hosting the NCAA's in Providence...

There is no way we lose 4 games out of conference.

Entirely possible.
Evansville, Santa Clara, UCal-Irvine/Boise State winner and URI. If we win the last Wooden matchup, thee could always be another Brown-stain type game (UMass, Illinois).
Take nothing for granted as our young pups try to find a way to showcase Kris.
Certainly hope not but nothing is guaranteed.

SANTA CLARA? Harvard isn't good, BC isn't good, Illinois isn't good, UMass isn't good. 3 out of 4 of those are at home and the other might as well be. We have 2 difficult games, Arizona and @uri. Even if URI is favored, that game is a toss up. I get that everyone is down on recruiting and having lowered expectations makes for a bigger surprise later- but PC has surpassed expectations every single year under Cooley. We have yet to regress and we have the best player that anyone under 45 has ever seen wear a PC uniform. I just don't understand some of these predictions... Under .500, Info? 14-16? Kris Dunn and 4 of us would finish over .500. The 2010-11 and 2011-12 teams went 15-17 in the old Big East. So you are essentially saying that this team is substantially worse than those teams? I think a lot of you need a vacation from all the recruiting stuff because it's clouding your judgement

I think a lot of you need a vacation from all the recruiting stuff because it's clouding your judgement We don't get AZ if we don't beat Evansville. Unless AZ loses to Santa Clara. Evansville returns all 5 starters from a 24 win season where they won the CIT Tournament. Don't dismiss them. I've said I hope I'm wrong but we're on the road with 8-9 raw players with 5 who've never been on the road against college competition. While I've pegged us at 8-3 non-conference, 4 losses is not out of the realm of possibility. milloy, we're you at the Dunk last Saturday? Lot of kinks to work out! PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!!

Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion- I am just saying that I think everyone should take a step back and try to look at the season from a 3,000 foot POV with regards to our roster, our schedule and the strength of the rest of the league/country.
It just seems as if the recruiting success (or lack thereof) has made everyone forget that we DO have a lot of talent on the team and our opponents haven't blown by us in talent in the past year.
There are 200 minutes to fill. More than half of those will be filled by Kris Dunn, Ben Bentil and Rodney Bullock. That MAY end up being the best trio in the Big East this year if Bullock plays that way I expect him to. We're going to be fine.
Also, regarding Evansville: most important game on our schedule. The SOS/RPI difference between playing Arizona and Santa Clara is huge (not to mention the opportunity to actual WIN the game).
