That was really a ridiculous moment...I was watching that game - half awake - then BOOM. And you are so correct draif - poor paco was right there as the backboard literally exploded. Tough night to be a FRIAR...if memory serves we were crushed in the game as well. (Just checked - 1/25/88 Pitt 90 - PC 56) AND the PITT PG who made the pass? None other than, (Freshman), Sean Miller current Arizona head coach. AND John Calipari was an Assistant Coach for Pitt. NY TIMES 2013 - Send it in Jerome

....ahhh, Charles Smith. The one NY Knick who never seemed to have any time to stop and give a kid an autograph at or after practice. "Not now fellows". Karma found him at last as the Chicago Bulls collectively stuffed his lame attempts to put the ball into and over the rim. The defining moment of his unfulfilled professioal career.
