As reported elsewhere by flyeraxo6, Ryan Fazekas is on campus as of today and has already begun working out...

LOL. The "Fazekas" heading didn't cause me any concern.

That heading was just the formerly great MOD and current KORE leader being a wisenhammer

Weak and thin does not equate to a 4....the walks early take is edwards and fazekas are behind the others...

Interesting the description of "weak and thin". Well just how "weak and thin" is he and what is the basis for that statement? Was he considered "weak and thin" in High School as he carried his team deep into the State Tourney while setting school records, etc?
I accept his limited role - first as a Freshman; second as a spot up shooter but really now even if his height to weight ratio is such that "thin" fits, how can some one flat out say he is "weak".

I believe this kid is going to be a good one. i agree. He and Council will add much needed long range shooting to the Friars.

Then I'll ask those who've seen him play.....do you see a four here?

Then I'll ask those who've seen him play.....do you see a four here? this excellent player will most likely be a three for most of his early career here. you, however, will remain a zero for the rest of your life.

Then I'll ask those who've seen him play.....do you see a four here? As the roster reflects, we have limited (and untested) depth across the 4/5 type positions. On account of this, Ed Cooley will adapt and evidently have to play "small ball", which would most likely break away from the convention of having a point, off-guard, small forward, power forward and center on the court together. Think of Villanova, which has thrived in recent years, with an offense that has typically featured a power forward/center type coupled with a point guard and three swingmen. I'm not suggesting that our roster has the level of talent/experience that Nova has had - simply that there's more than one rotational scheme, than the conventional - 1,2,3,4,5 set up. That said, I do believe that Fazekas will be part of this year's rotation - in the role of a zone buster/spot up shooter (not as a "4"). As his body and game develops, he'll see increasingly more time, and hopefully have a nice career at PC. Just my opinion

I never heard or read anything about Ryan being a 4.
Everything i have read says he is a shooter which in my mind made him a 3 if we have to attach labels.
Can he rebound? I have no idea. Everything written says he can flat out shoot.
Don't see a problem
