The family is from NY so I guess it makes some sense. Not sure who Uconn has occupying the 3/4 spots next year but one would have to figure Tyler may start and play 25-30mpg ........same he would've received here had he chosen to stay(with hopefully the best PG in nation)
Who knows, he has a shot of throwing up 17-18ppg in that league next year and it might end up enough to get drafted.

If it's UConn then it's all about getting the stamp of legitimacy from his brother's NBA circle.

If it's UConn then it's all about getting the stamp of legitimacy from his brother's NBA circle.....OR they have solid returnees at the 2/3/5 plus a top 25 PG coming in.....and IF you wanted to get to nba whether good enough or not, wouldn't a year with Ollie make about as much sense as anyone if the roster openings fit?

He still has to be fed the ball to score. I don't know what kind of G's they have next season but if they aren't giving it up much I don't think he's going to have the stats he wants.
IMO he should go to a good mid-maj program where he might be a first option but that's not going to happen at UConn.

Solid returnees???
Good lord that team sucked this year and they lose their only good player. So they take a kid who was basically a decent player at their supposed weaker little brother program?
How the mighty have fallen...

you don't think Hamilton and Purvis are solid?...and you wouldn't sign up for 9ppg from chukwu right now?..
we lose dunn and we'd kill for that roster...

No. The only guy on that team that has any potential to play for a winning team is Hamilton.
And the boneyard agrees with me...they don't seem too happy about Harris being a priority. Not what they want at all.
And who cares about PC....this is UCONN....they are supposed to be the end all be all of NE hoops.

not even a calendar year off a NC will make you "kings of NE"...especially when it's your 4th in 15 years....Purvis played great down the stretch this year. we sure could have used him.
I'd be hoping for better if I was a UConn fan but it makes sense from the harris side.
