PC really ought to make the cut, at least in the AP poll. I read 3, 4 teams lost a game or two, PC has the resume to be ranked, even though we all know they're unpredictable. Would be huge to see the little number next to our name vs St Johns at MSG on FOX (regular FOX, should be a much bigger viewership compared to FS1)

we're 50/50....we certainly pass the rpi test but not much others....I ain't holding my breath for a ratings bonanza next weekend...ranked or not.
Will be interesting to see what kind of numbers that game gets...
...funny how seth davis is a blowhard and only watches duke 99% of the time....guess that's a good thing this week...

I don't think its must watch TV but the day before the superbowl sat early afternoon on the national FOX channel should be our biggest TV draw in years.

We didn't get in...but Butler, G'Town and Miami did. ND now ranked 8th. When was the last time we had 4 wins over top 25 teams in one season?

When was the last time any team had 4 wins over top 25 teams and still not be ranked?Put UCONN on the front of our jerseys and we would be Top 10.
Yeah I get it Walk, UCONN has NC's and we don't meet the eye test, but most these guys voting don't watch 1/4 of these teams they vote on.
....gotta love friartown...

if your question is would we be ranked with our metrics coming off a national title....that answer is yes....top 10?...really?...the highest ranked 5 loss team is texas at 14-5...their worst projected rpi loss is at OSU #44....butler's is at tenny....
..we snitch that the voters don't watch when we get left out....would you vote us in after the Xavier game?...especially when you factor in the brown loss...

More whining from Sir Pastrami...you might think the cheater Fr Flanagan was still there
2 1/2 vs 5 on the court... when that changes, everything goes much more positive for our team

Screw the polls.
The only thing that matters, is that this Team stay on the tracks - and keeps winning. All of this will sort its way out over the next 1.5 months.
Simply put, PC has to take care of business - one game at a time.
Ed Cooley's record last years and thus far this season, provides enough in the way of proof points, when he's meeting with Recruits. While it would be nice to have a number next to our name this week, that number would be as good as gone next week - if the team doesn't rise to the challenge beginning at 2pm on Thursday
