i believe lunardi is as of today and bpi is more of a projection on where we will end up if we continue to play like we have....basically says we're doing it with mirrors....I don't think anyone disagrees that we need to play better the rest of the way...

unchanged I think.....some site posted on the other board has us as a 3....
one thing has changed with our rpi....we've been consistently projected to be in the 19-20 win range....up until about a week ago, 20Ws projected to put us with a high 30s/low 40s projected rpi....20Ws now projects to the low 30s and even 19 gets us under 40....guessing this has to do with Miami and ND taking care of business...

Yup, BPI seems to be some sort of predictor of "where we'll end up" in terms of the future wins and losses on our schedule. As of TODAY based on what we've done so far we're comfortably in, but as we all know (and BPI seems to take into account) is our schedule is about to get much harder. If our RPI is below 40 on Selection Sunday I feel confident we're in. So I'm keeping my eye on real time RPI (not forecasted) the rest of the season and I won't panic until I see that slipping.

BPI also takes in how you play....basically says if we don't play better we will lose and not get in.....which is pretty much what 90% of this board is saying regarding everyone on our roster not named henton or dunn....

BPI and all these ratings are so fackin stupid. Fact is we are a top 25 team so far this year if you look at resumes up to this point.
When has an Ed Cooley basketball team not played better towards the end of the season? The guy is a legend in the making im not worried.
If we stay healthy there's no shot in hell we miss the NCAA's. I wouldn't hesitate to put a million bucks on it. If we stay healthy...
I think some are underestimating the fact we have the most talented player in the conference along with another top 5 BE player who is also the toughest player in the conference. And we have the best coach in the conference, it's clear as day.
I think another guy or two will step up for us, but Kemba walker won a freakin national title all by him self not too long ago...Henton and Dunn along with the legend in Cooley him self can bring us the the NCAA's at the least.

Before we get too carried away, we're exactly where we were last year after 20 games. Not that last year wasn't pretty special at the end of February and into March. And we're in much better position if we can win 20 games going into the BET where we shouldn't need to win the damn thing to force our way in due to the success of the BE OOC....but the schedule looks pretty nasty rest of the way. Got to get others to contribute including Freshman.

We're between 20-40......nobody in that 20-25 range has a loss comparable to brown....I'm not sure anyone would walk away impressed with our team after any of our BE wins...we played well against creighton....and found a way in the other three....we're where we should be....unfortunately the whining usually leads to a loss...

Miami is ranked 23. They lost to Eastern Kentucky by 28 points at home. We beat Miami, fairly handily.

Eastern ky projects almost 100 spots better than brown....currently about 70 spots better....
...and they have 3 top 100 roadies....i
If we were to get DePaul and two of those road games (sju/x/gt) we'd be ranked....

Walk, Have you seen that PC is 9-2 vs. Top 100 and 5-1 vs. Top 50? I am sure you would agree that is impressive.
