Delgado= 18min./2 pts./4 reb. Looked like GU had not only size but quickness advantage. SHU reminds me of SJU in that they play undisciplined basketball.
Gibbs was 1-11 and they shot 29% from the field as a team.
....gotta love friartown...

It required a Boatright trey at the buzzer, for UConn to go into the locker room with a half-time lead over Columbia
39-36

wtm depaul won that game without soph center Tommy Hamilton who was suspended for the game....and the Golden Eagles aka Warriors had that Luke Fisher transfer center
I watched most of the rock fight and then left for the playground with Marquette hoilding a steady 8 or 9 point lead with but a few minutes left.

SHU looked better without Whitehead yesterday. They moved the ball really well in the 1/2 court set and hit open looks. Delgado could be an issue for us, more so than Smith at GU. Smith is a load, but I don't think he can keep up with a fast paced game and is prone to foul trouble. SJU is so undisciplined once they get behind.
....gotta love friartown...

I have not watched that Hoyas loss yet but the bad news for the BE is that they will fall out of the rankings maybe...the Johnnies will drop some too

SHU looked solid and they are better than I thought they were. I actually think SJU will come back to earth a little but that team has heart so you really can't count them out. Georgetown didn't look all that impressive last night to me and X doesn't appear to be anything special either. I don't think there are any easy outs but I think PC has the potential if the freshmen get going and start playing consistently to finish in the top 3 of the conference.
