Butler(4-1) 24 22 46 Oklahoma(4-1) 36 23 59
Big East now 39-5 after Georgetown & Butler losses, but Hoyas played No.2 Wisconsin to the wire and will be a threat to win the Big East

I don't think georgetown is very good...I know smith Rivera had a good game today but he's been shooting terrible and can be forced into very bad shoots...they will need peak and white to over perform IMO and I think peak will win Roy....they do not shoot well...
I have no idea how we compare to the rest of the conf but would be shocked if we finish behind gtown....now I also think sju will get their act together and be better than us......assuming teams stay mostly healthy.
..and for the record I do not view the Lindsey injury as that big a deal..I'm not sure he's dribbled the ball ten times all year...

I appreciate the perspective.I have not yet seen the Hoyas.Their playing so well vs.Wisconsin a a feather in their cap. Lindsey's ability to shoot the three is very important to this team. Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Friar friends.

Big win for Marquette over GT, who inexplicably took a 2 with 1.9 seconds left down 3...uh ok...
Now Marquette meets Mich state and could play Kansas if they win in their brackets, could be two chances to get huge wins.

IUfMarquette beats a Mich St or Kansas, I would be shocked...albeit pleasantly.
I would add Ben as a key to our fortune's this year. He logged many minutes over the weekend and played in key pressure situations and spelled CD for rest at the 5. He's good now but with all the PT against good teams, he should be even better by New Year's Eve. Pretty solid experienced frontcourt that should not be overwhelmed by anybody except Ky.
The injuries are diappointing but if we can gut one out against Yale, take our licking at Lexington, we get a breather to get it back together against BC.

I've had the pleasure of watching everyone in the Big East play this year except for Xavier and I agree with Walk on this one. I think Georgetown is a solid team but I think we are a better team than they are. I think we are better than SJU and Butler also. The team that concerns me a bit is Creighton though. I think they will finish higher than people think. I'm still on the fence about Xavier. They haven't played anyone and if they slip up in conference play don't be surprised if they miss the tourney since they haven't played a tough OOC schedule.

Bluiett is off to a nice start for Xavier, leading the team with an average of 18 points/game (albeit against weak opposition). Xavier has been flying under the radar, but their home game on 12/6, against Alabama, should provide a little better reading on them.

You think SJU will get their act together and finish ahead of us? What has Lavin ever done there to make you think THAT?.....so it's ok to say we're better than gtown but not worse than sju? Unlike most here I think lavin is a decent coach....they return their starting backcourt and I think Jordan is the best guard in the league.....they still do a ton of stupid things...
Haven't seen Xavier either...have only seen creighton at home (you don't get the same version on the road IMO)...marq does not impress me at all...I think they get drilled today..
I don't see us winning BE games without those 4 playing...of course it could happen if someone scores 39 or we run into a team chucking up bricks...Bentil is a hell of a luxury off the bench...

SJU could be very good if they hand the keys to Jordin. The more Harrison runs that team the worse they will do.
I was more impressed with Gtown yesterday than I was with their win against Florida. I think they could be very good. A lot of depth.
Gonna be a great year.
