Thanks Bob...yes I noticed they had F St and I'm hoping he pulls the ND game out of his hat too
I need to see those last 5 minutes after we were down 8
all the hi-lites I have seen so far have sucked in terms of seeing the ass end of the game
in my post-game presser I told my seatmates that Buckets had so many great plays that everyone was neglecting the two shot
with the most pressure...those FTs with 15 seconds to play and down ONE

Miffed that ESPN chose to leave the video from your post game presser on the cutting room floor. What were they thinking?

Hopefully he is able to re-upload it at some point today. And actually, if you go to watchespn.com and click the "replay" tab you can rewatch the game, it's listed right there. You just need to login with your Cable provider.

I watched the replay of the ND game via ESPN and I'm kinda glad I knew PC was the eventual winner because that game was stressful. Also, I want no part of playing that team again because they are flat out good and I don't think LaDontae can catch lightening in a bottle quite that well twice.

Info, would you be saying the same thing if Dunn were not in foul trouble and Lindsey not twisting his ankle after nailing his 1st 3 from the corner??
I think we very well could have beaten ND by 10-15 if those two were able to play like the previous couple of games.
ND was very good, no doubt, but we relied on a late signee of a PG to maintain some control of the ball and run some offense. And it mat not show up in the stat sheet, but the kid did a really good job of not crapping his pants yesterday, unlike Dex must have when Dunn went down..
(Notice I didn't even mention the horrible officiating)
....gotta love friartown...
..I have no idea..
...haven't seen a minute...

Although I would have preferred that you omitted the imagery of Dex in that condition.

Mikey with some very good insight on the kid from CA....imagine where the Friars would be if he was playing out west right now? Sure he had some TOs but this was his first big game against a big time (well somewhat big time) opponent on national TV playing against more experienced guys. I thought he did a very good job holding the offense together, getting the ball to the right guys (mainly Henton) while Dunn was out. Still needs work on the "D" but I think that is coming along. Also agree on the loss of Lindsey having a big impact both offensively and defensively. Brey would have had to change a bit of his game plan. And losing Dunn for long stretches also hurt. Overall, who would have thought at the start the Friars could win this game without Lindsey and with Dunn only playing 20 or so minutes. Heck most people thought the Friars would lose with those guys playing their full complement. Let's hope the injuries are not bad and they are back hopefully for Friday and definitely for Sunday.

Cartwright played pretty well yesterday. You could tell he was getting a little stressed yesterday at times but I was impressed. He is composed and aggessive. I would say a very good pickup. I hope Chambers is as equally impressive when he plays.

Mike, notwithstanding your indelicate description of Dex during the Dunn fall over the baseline, I agree with you that the game would have been a comfortable win with Dunn and Lindsey at regular minutes.
And...if Lindsey doesn't go out early, I suspect Dunn does not play the game in foul trouble bec Lindsey would have drawn Grant much of the time thereby helping to save Dunn. The kid and Junior were manning that backcourt for more minutes than Ed would have liked going into the game...albeit, as Mike points out graphically, they did not soil themselves.
Geez those 4 FTs by CD were huge...I think we were 8 down with 5:22 to play

We have been extremely impressive and will be a legit top 25 team if we avoid major injuries. Wouldn't say Henton caught lightning in a bottle either...He's a big time player and knows how to win. Toughest player in the country.
