...how this is the same team that played the America east last week is mindboggling......with the exception of henton, every single player stepped up to a previously unseen level....fsu may turn out to suck and Hamiltons teams always struggle to score, but we did whatever we wanted on offense the entire day....very impressive....
Huge opportunity tomorrow....

Don't see any reason why we won't be ranked this week if we beat ND.

Hate these conversations b/c they always backfire........but doubt we'd go from nothing to top 25.,,...

I thought we were receiving votes in one poll

I guess it would depend on what other teams ahead of us do. If enough lose and we win tomorrow we'd have a shot.

Had to move Dunn to the one, that got it all started. But boy, I might have to start calling him Rustoleum now, man did he clean that rust off fast!

I was sitting right behind the ESPN guys. I'd use the word "dismantle" if I were writing the headline. Right from the get-go. Lindsey is indeed a sharpshooter.

I just looked at the rankings, way too many teams ahead of us 'getting votes' in both polls last week (0 votes for us) , I don't see us getting ranked unless they all lost. Most of the top 25 won both their games this week except a few in bottom of that poll.
If Friars can take care of business tomorrow I'd say they'll start to appear in the getting votes list. If they beat Yale and then have a good showing in Kentucky we'll see...

Watched game on TV with an ESPN3 stream and it was absolutely impressive whistle to whistle. It was a run over with so many things happening BY PC that FSU was un-tracked and probably shocked. The defense was key to the flow as well - good to see. Dunn was superb - ESPN's announcers openly saying he is an NBA caliber player the way he controlled the tempo and pace. He made this team work - period. And they sure responded and played UP to his leadership - we shot a high percentage because we scored close in - nice! Yes, Lindsey was wonderfully welcomed to shoot the lights out but again, he was so open because? ? What really impressed was the way went right at them and never stopped. Have to say the role Cartwright played as well handling the ball as the game rolled was so refreshing to see - this young kid is a ball handler. Tomorrow will tell us much more as ND may not be a top-tier team but they are certainly quality and not chopped liver either. heading down in the AM.

I do agree that that helped, but why is it mind boggling that a team with all of these new faces will have ups and downs? After everything that we've seen from Cooley's teams, I expect steady improvement. Henton is dependable, but I am not as confident in Harris on a nightly basis. Dunn is a difference maker, but even he will probably have some less than desirable performances, and the team itself will most certainly suffer.

We're looking at a one week window....not two months....and while I expected us to be ok on the defensive end yesterday....the offense against a Leonard Hamilton team was nowhere on my radar last week...

I agree with walk on this one. I expected steady improvement but not 0 to Harlem Globetrotters in 3 games. Nothing clicked against Albany and now its been 3 straight excellent games with contributions from everywhere. Now before I get way ahead of myself lets see what today brings. If we win a well played game then I'll know its for real. All that said even if we do show strong I fully expect ups and downs that virtually any team will hit, even more so since we are indeed young and inexperienced.

I found it interesting that once things "got real", Dunn stopped playing off the ball (for the most part) and Harris was cured from hogtheballitis. Those two changes alone improved PC offensively dramatically.
