..when did josh say he wanted to play the 1?..,, another huge stretch when trying to explain the transfer...the comments directly from josh have been minimal...

Agreed that the direct comments have been minimal...This is what I was told in a couple conversations, but agreed that it's not directly from him so its understandable to call it a huge stretch He's a good kid. I wish him the best.
I doubt he will publicly reveal his true feelings/frustrations, as is the case in several cases with transfers.

Fortune as a 1 is quite a stretch indeed specially as passing was a glaring weakness and not just on the out of bounds play. Actually heard more than one indicate it was his poor pass and not anything on the floor that caused Council's injury the year before. If he actually saw himself as a PG it is better he left because he was far from a 1.
Hope he never does reveal his true feelings, etc. because it serves little purpose - we are past that whole thing. P As it is now, plain and simple he left as he decided greener pastures awaited him. What will happen with his college hoop future 'fortunes' remains to be seen...

I honestly believe it as simple as he didn't like it here. He may not have liked the school, he may not have liked Cooley and he may not have liked his teammates? In the end who cares? The grass is always greener and kids are so sensitive these days and Josh may be more sensitive to things/slights/menstrual cramps/ than most. I wish him well and we move on. The list of transfers each and every year are full of head scratches, this is not unique to PC or Cooley.

I think the bottom line is that he thought he was much better than he really was. His aspirations far exceeded his ability.

menstrual cramps", like some on this board when people discuss past players... Big deal. Don't read and comment on them if they are irrelevant to you.

What transfers in the past have made you say "yeah, that guy really made his transfer work out for him"? Seriously, most that I can think of either did very well at lower levels or did poorly at equal levels. Ira Bowman made the NBA out of Penn and I think Connelly played solid minutes for an Ohio St. final 4 team. McKiver had a fun 2 years chucking up shot after shot at a Keno type program and Gerald Brown and Brew lit it up at lower levels...but are there many examples of guys leaving to go to an equal setting and doing well?

I don't honestly see him doing aby better than he would have done here. He will go to Colorado and be a solid rotation guy for the next 2 years and then never be heard from again.
