Noon games at the Dunk are terrible. Crowd is dead. Yup. I recall a few Saturday/noon ND games over the last few years that had a Catholic mass feel to it. And it didn't bode well for the Friars.

Good one...only thing worse are the afternoon games during parent/alumni/family weekends but all part of the schedule - now let's win this pending late night Butler blizzard game tonight and we will see about the nooner on Saturday.

I'm looking forward to coming over for the game on Saturday - and am hoping for a lively crowd to go along with a Friar win.

I was at one of those with my friend who went to ND. We got beat down. Was like romper room in the Dunk. Nice for families, I guess, but terrible for the team. Team needs intoxicated adults in the stands. 8 PM on a Saturady night is usually the best crowd at the Dunk. I think I went to a 9 PM Saturday game vs. Marquette a while back that was great. Believe it was the Jonathan Xavier game.

Believe it was the Jonathan Xavier game. I was at that game, as well -- great crowd. I think the Nova game that year was also a late one. It was a close loss, as the Friars made a late push. The building was shaking at times. There was a lot of excitement around the program early on that year. Keno had the majority of us fooled, and the early Syracuse win didn't help matters. I can't believe that was 5 years ago. Time flies, for sure.
