Xavier was in the low 20s yesterday and our win bumped us 7 spots (i think)....a home win over Nova has to be a 10 spot improvement...
i imagine we'll be around a 10/11 seed in most brackets now...avoid the losing streak and we should stay about there.
we dropped 2 spots in the rpi between 10am and 1pm EST today....it's gonna take 7 to feel real good on selection sunday...and i'm not sure a realistic scenario exists without beating nova...

The x factor for the improbable to continue. Fortune looks to be gaining confidence in his abilities, aka maturing. Batts' resurgence seems like a big leaguer coming out of his slow spring start and swinging the bat I mid- summer form. How impressive is this teams relentless rebounding! Mssrs. Harris, Batts, Derosiers and especially Henton. Love that Batts doesn't take any nonsense in the paint, establishing his position, getting physical with opposing players trying to hold and grab. So fun to watch Deroisers alter and block shots.
One thing I would like to see is the defense not allow such seemingly uncontested layups that occurred early in the first half. I am certain the staff can address defending those plays.

Harris staying out of foul trouble would lengthen the bench a little too.

Bigger problem is what losses can do. We jumped up 6 or 7 spots yesterday but Xavier fell more than 10 by losing on the road to us.

Don't think so...pretty sure they were 21 and dropped to 27 last night...up to 24 right now... There are a lot of RPI calcs so we must be looking at different ones. CBS and ESPN have them at 34 and 35. Real-Time, which must not be, has them at 30 but does not reflect yesterday's loss yet.

Friara: Are there 2 different sites or am I looking at wrong listing? This has X at 30 but as 15-4 instead of 15-5, realtimerpi.com/rpi_Men.html

X is 14-5...the only sites I look at are CBS and rpiforecast.com. X started at 26 today but moved up to 24. We started at 41 but dropped to 43.
Espn has the BPI, but that is a different measure.

Realtime has X as 14-5 and CBS has them at 15-5. Maybe they have a Div 2 win. CBS has them ranked as tied for 35th which is a big difference from Realtime.

Not sure where u r looking but cbssports has x RPI at 26.
I think their win vs Abilene Christian does not effect their RPI.

I will say, regarding the regional point....no way a loss to us would have drooped X 10 RPi points. Minnesota lost to Nebraska (84 RPI)yesterday and only dropped 7 points.

So X is back up to 25 on the cbs rpi....friars 43...guessing the cbs is as of a certain point in the day and realtime is current...
too lazy to look but would like to know how much we jumped after the wins against butler and xavier...doesn't seem like that much..
2nd edit....jerry palm has us as an 8 seed....
