Official word from NCAA’s why we missed… we made our decision before the games played out. We assumed FAU, would win their sh*t conference, and not only let them in, we gifted them an 8 seed.

Three of last year's Final Four teams are in the same Region and will see each other by the round of 16 should they win.
So many messed up seeds in this bracket, including this.

Just ran into Dick down in Lakewood Ranch. I remember when he was the featured speaker at a Midnight Madness get-together and had the crowd in tears. Really nice guy. I think Rick Barnes got him thru the Washington Speakers Bureau for a tidy sum. Later ran into him and his wife at Logan and we shared some breakfast. He invited me to his Lakewood Ranch Gala for kids stricken with cancer. Has raised over $68 million and is also very involved in the Jimmy V Foundation. Really great guy. PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!!

I said a while back that Seton Hall’s NET was a joke and I’m sure that’s what cost them. 13 wins in the BE and no dancing has to be a first.

The bottom 2 teams won 2 games in league play and that's because Hoyas beat DePaul twice.
Take the 4 wins SH, PC, SJ won against those 2 away and look at how they did against the rest of the league in regular season. Overall the top 3 teams dominated, the rest got a few wins against top but against everyone else 4-9 it was a story of beating each other up. Friars were hurt with getting swept by Nova with the loss at home and losing the "Floyd was fouled" Butler game when calendar turned to February.
I give credit to Kim, the staff, the 3 upperclassmen left after Bryce went down to even remain in the conversation this year. I don't think it's a total rebuild like other teams may have, but certainly need some help either from the returnees getting better and/or key new guys and a healthy Bryce at some point. Shooters is most obvious from any of the above.
I will be at the AMP cheering our Friars on because in the end I am a fan, I am a Friar and I support my teams no matter where they play.

Could do the same for almost every conference, unfortunately GU and DePaul were probably the worst 2 bottom dwellers for any major conference. ACC had Louisville with a 3-17 record. B10 had Michigan 3-17. Mountain West had 3 bottom teams combine for an 8-46 in conference record yet got 6 teams in. I'll be at the AMP also. ....gotta love friartown...
