Yank it just you, me, and the super fans behind the Friar bench tonight. Friar fans are on Presidents week vacation whether in the sun or skiing in VT.

A lot of guys stepped up tonight. But Kim English and his coaching staff did a great job working their way through foul trouble to get this win.

Big win. A lot of heroes tonight. Ticket came up big at the end. Castro played great in relief when Oduro went out. Pierre was fantastic. And I thought Floyd played a solid game. When the supporting cast plays well, this team will always have a chance to win. One game at a time.

Pierre, Slim and Barron each played significant minutes and had an impact in clawing back and preserving the margin while Josh and Ticket were saddled with fouls.
Team is so resilient

Man do we stink at closing out games. It nearly cost us tonight and against St. John’s and it did against Butler. Hell, we hurt our metrics by how poorly we closed out against DePaul and Wisconsin.
But what matters right now is we got a big freakin win! Proud of the fight and grit of this team. Pierre was huge in the second half, Barron, Floyd and Castro alll had solid stretches and he big ticket comes up huge at the end. Great team win, now we get to rest for a week before a huge opportunity. Congrats to the coaches and players, what an effort!

After the way we played in the first half, I figured we were cooked when Josh picked up his 4th foul.
Good thing the players have the “so what, now what” MINDSET to dig themselves out of the hole.
Credit too goes to KE for navigating the team away from the abyss and across the finish line

I feel that Tickets been struggling as a shooter with the mask on. We needed another scorer out there to extend Xs defense, which was focused on shutting down Oduro and Carter

Just an absolutely massive win. What an amazing job by this team to be 18-9 and still in it after losing Bryce Hopkins.
